REFERENCE MATERIALS: The Walking Dead comic book, 28 Days Later, World War Z
ESTIMATED PRICE PER SPRUE: $5
NOTE: THIS SPRUE HAS REACHED THE 1000 MARK VERY QUICKLY! WE HAVE STARTED SCULPTING. THE # HAS BEEN RAISED TO 2000 TO ALLOW ANYONE ELSE INTERESTED TO "PRE-ORDER". WE WILL SHOW RENDERS OF THE SCULPTURE AS SOON AS IT IS READY!

Here are the first two full bodies - torsos and legs are separate so that you can swap them around (see below)

Here's a better, crisper render to show the details on the heads

This is a better render of the sculpture than the ones above - also the head has been scale appropriately!

More views of our friend from all angles. Tim is hard at work on the obligatory Fat Trucker Guy and Guy in shorts/sandals!

Two new additions to the Zombie Madness gripping Wargames Factory (and Tim Barry in particular!) First we have Dr. Zed. (Although that long coat could just be a raincoat or even a cowboy duster). The figure is one-piece (legs/torso) with separate heads and separate right arm to mix and match.

He's followed by another separate legs/torso figure. This one also has the left arm attached and is showing a new right arm option. There are a mix of sleeved and bare right arms so you can mix and match and all of them are multi-position poseable. The short legs can be used for either a Rapper-Wanna-Be-Type or perhaps even your Friendly Local Neighborhood Postman!

We're in the home stretch with these guys - so keep the comments coming! The Holidays are obviously taking some time out of the process, but we hope to wrap these guys up (design phase) in the next few days and get them into mold design!

Okay -- one last Zombie friend to add to the mix. He could be a security guard, a mall cop, someone at the hospital where patient 0 originated, etc.
The final sprue configuration will look like this:
1 x Dr. Zed (and/or duster/raincoat Zed)
1 x Fat guy torso
1 x Bare chested surfer-dude torso
1 x rotted shirt torso
1 x suit torso
1 x button down shirt torso
1 x drawstring short legs
1 x rotted long pant legs
1 x suit pants
1 x mailman shorts
1 x cargo pants
4 x sleeve right arms
4 x bare right arms
9 x heads
As long as nobody has any major objections, next week we'll get these into tooling!
Update - January 14, 2009 - into mold design!
The list above is the final list - sprue will have 5x torsos, 5x legs, 8 right arms (all left arms attached), 9 heads, and one Dr. Zed full body. 28 total parts. We've tried to remember our math, but you can get roughly 26 body combinations...and then from that with the arms and heads (keeping in mind some arms are bare and some have sleeves) you can get 936 different unique zombies from these parts! (Of course, you'd have to buy 156 sprues to do it -- but it CAN be done!)
Update - January 22, 2009 - on the CNC!
Update - February 25, 2009 -- We Made It! The First Liberty and Union League submission to reach the 1000 sprues mark is now in hard plastic!
