Review this product:
Nothing like ripping off Alien, Star Wars, Blade Runner, and every other SF concept of the 60s, 70s, and 80s!
Personally i think their ace, looking forward to getting my hands on some of these bad boys.
Now all some needs to do is give them SS or Splinter cammo? What Really good Idea. And a great price to boot?
Yes..... Great alternatives for GW Imperial, Inquisition Stormies as well as Kreig, but I prefer to see if there is a good rule set released for them VS Zombies. Well Done Wargames Factory, Now get back to making Long bowmen and Men at Arms!
The review by BoW shows they'll rank up decently with GW's stuff, and not as detailed as FW models, but the latter isn't surprising.
I'm impressed.
Looking forward to more stuff like this in the future!
Really hoping to see some command and heavies to go with these.
I said they did some "concept" crap in early 2009 - they didn't actually start sculpting the final figures until January on 2010. So that's 4 months.
I'm REALLY excited actually, because GW takes about a year to do any plastics and these guys can get them out in a few months!
Sorry, but it's your math that doesn't seem to be working (at least, not as well as your internet connection- which seems to allow you to read my comments and respond to them before the webmasters send them live).
The Liberty and Union League timeline on this very site states a start date of May 2009. They will be released next month. That's a year and 2 months. 12+2=14. Simple!
"didn't really start sculpting until January. So four months from sculpting to plastic is pretty good!"
May 2009 would have been when someone submitted the idea, and probably not when they started sculpting.
"Simple!"

How can you not say they are GW rip-offs? That is death korps all the way. Im not saying I dont like them but to say they arent a rip-off is retarded.
I definitely plan to supplement my 40k Guard army and use these as the storm troopers! Nice models!
And the price? You can't beat it!
P.s. Down with Imperial, Down with Capitol, down with Dark Legion, For Bauhaus
Once again WF has given the gaming community what it wants ( see libery & union lists) @ an AFFORDABLE ( a word not in GW dictionary)Price! Plus no steep shipping costs to another continent ( sorry rest of the world). I can't wait to kitbash these w/ ancient & colonial brit heads or add the arms to colonial brits as well.
We always respond to every email we receive - usually within a few hours. If you emailed and didn't get something back, it might have been eaten by your spam folder. We've had that happen a couple times.
Thanks!

Thanks,

p.s. pro stands for productions.
I think I might have just found the ticket!
You were waiting for the box at the end of june.
So...We're start of July...Are they in stock now??...I'm eagerly awaiting to make my order....
Reporting for duty, sir!
=D
so were still stuck with ancient historicals!! =P
Seriously though, I concur with several of the people here. Great looking models. I'll most likely be picking up a box just for the hell of it. If I don't find a use for them, I'll at least have something awesome to practice my painting skills on a little more(Ten years painting. Can never have too much practice. Lol) and turn into some pretty bookshelf display items.
Keep making more Sci-Fi stuff! Bring on the Aliens and Tanks and armored Mechs!
Incidentally, I love the models. As a big fan of Killzone and its universe, I'm really stoked by the look of the models and needless to say, I will be ordering some in short order.
Bravo to the sculptors.
Also on the GW angle, I agree with the user above who said GW stuff is more derivative than people think. Not a bad thing at all though as it works very well and I have a wonderful collection of their stuff. I just don't really agree with the pricing of their stuff now I have a family, house etc.

I wish they have a command and heavy weapon box set.
Anyway, the actual models are pretty solid, and priced competitively to boot. My only gripe was the mass shipping fiasco, but that has since been handled (and some of us angry gamers have been appeased with an extra sprue or two).
Good job, WGF. Every company goes through growing pains and hiccups, but I think you are well on the right track.
altho perhaps an option for arms without sholderpads? also more kit-bags and grenades and junk to cover them in for more custom looks :P
How much of a height/scale difference do these 28mm models show when stacked next to standard GW 25mm?
1) Add some heavy-weapons teams would be great: tri-pod bulky heavy lasguns...er, sorry I meant "machine-guns" or large flame thrower units would be cool.
2) Other types of specialists would be cool: communications, snipers, command squads, scouts, or heavy/veteran units etc.
I would put these on a par with anything GW is putting out right now. The scale is really close, and they make a great (and WAY more reasonable priced) alternative to 40K miniatures. Just for the fun of it, I mixed and matched a few Cadian bits and pieces- they work BRILLIANTLY together.
If management is reading this (and I don't know why they wouldn't) PLEASE continue with this line of minis. These are really well done, and are highly compatible with other lines available on the market.
I love them, and plan to outfit an army of them!
and how many are there in the box?
Glad to hear otherwise!
where can i buy them in the UK? P&P from the US sometimes ends up costing more than the product itself :P
The only two minor quibbles i have are that the built in bases on the troopers makes these guys a little bit taller than the GW infantry models, and these guys' helmets need to be trimmed before assembly so they don't look like they have giraffe necks. Honestly, that's nothing a hobby knife can't fix in under ten seconds.
Excellent models. I'm looking forward to seeing those heavy weapon/ officer kits.
Great figs, great variety! Way to go!
16th Century Samurai range. All of these should happen this quarter. WF
us at customerservice@wargamesfactory.net and have us do it for you.
visible parts of the model on the table, is not a particularly good place to attach to the sprue. The supporting arms do not fit gracefully with the rifles, but they do fit. They fit fine with the shotguns. The heads don't fit the body without clipping a good
chunk from the neck, but that's a 5-minute job. The heads don't fit the standing body without narrowing the neck a bit, but again, a quick fix. Future directions: I would suggest fewer head options (14 heads per 3 figures is a little extreme), more gear options
(canteens, pouches, bayonets, suppressors, headset radios, binos, scopes, grenades, demo satchels, etc.) ..... that being said, they are still reasonably priced, and reasonably detailed, and I have every intention of purchasing more.
less, well, then that's capitalism. From the beginning, I wanted my IG army to be a sci-fi greatcoat style army, and that means my options are either pay Forge World prices for Krieg, or come here. To me, that's an easy choice to make.
the new Samurai and new Apocalypse ranges and maybe even the Greek Heavy Infantry (we've not decided yet on that set). Once we get a feel for the cost (which will be minimal in terms of what 30-bases costs us to put in a box but could be anywhere from slight
to substantial in increased shipping due to added weight) then we'll discuss price increases. As for now, we're holding to our $19.95 price point and not putting bases in the current boxes.
in other games by the way? Do you approve of people using your models as counts-as in other games?
YOUR models and you can do with them whatever you want; you have our blessing (not that you need it). Have a great summer!
of the models as well as the sheer number of accessories and options they come with, plus the ease of kitbashing them with GW guardsmen to make squad leaders and whatnot. Great kit for a great price, will definitely be ordering more soon.
can't think what I'd use them for...
if they're anything like these guys they'll look amazing!
on something!!
models. I really enjoy your work and am personally excited to see what you come up with next.
market, esp. in plastic.
