The Numidians were the fearsome enemies and allies of Ancient Rome sending bowmen, slingers, javelinmen, and swordmen out from their North African kingdom.

This multi-part hard plastic 28mm figure set gives you 14 sprues - 7 body/arm sprues and 7 head/equipment sprues to create 28 warriors.

This set is especially useful as a base for conversion to dozens of different troop types for the Ancient through Medieval periods.

They look nice, but weren't Numidians black? More African than Arab.

I got a couple of the advance order sprues. These guys not only make great light infantry; for those of you planning a 'Junta' style revolt in Rome game, the bare-headed Numidians make great civilians as well. Great detailing and a financial good buy as well.

Ray - that's a common misconception. Nubians were black African, Numidians were north African (ancestors of modern Berbers and other desert people). WF have got this one right where many actually don't!

I'm glad you guys brought in the Phoenician ancestry and influences on the Numidians - I take it they can be used for Hannibal's Carthaginian army as well? Now you just need to produce plastic war elephants and Numidian cavalry.

I like how versatile these are, they could fit into almost any ancient army! I plan on using mine as Shemites for a home-brewed Conan/Hyborian age campaign!

I think they may also might be used as Ibero-celts (ancient spanish celts)

They are splendid! I consider buying a box or two once the Vikings are out, both to bolster my Ancients collection and to spice up my Lord of the Rings fantasy ranges with some 2nd/3rd Age Umbarean light Infantry and some amazing Northmen or First Age humans (the Viking models).

Indeed, these are excellent models, with innumerable potential uses. I reckon I can use at least one box in my Spartan army as light troops, and who knows how many more could be useful...

Yes, you can build 28 spearmen OR swordmen. You can build 14 archers. 28 slingers.

I second the request for Numidian Cavalry! Lots needed for any Roman or Numidian army!

I love these things! I'm using them for my Carthage force for WAB. I would LOVE to give you more of my money but first you have to create a set of numidian horsemen legs and small hide bucklers so I can use these bodies/heads/arms and your horse sprue on some Numidian Cav!

WOW i could use them as peltasts for my WAB greek army! how many bows can you make? (creten archers) or javalins (peltasts)

These look so cool. I can't wait to to get some and marry tyhem up with some Catachan arms to make a unit of "Last Chancers" for 40K

Well, these figures look great. I am thinking that by purchasing some metal spears, these figs could be easily converted into unarmored Macedonian Pikemen. The shield and helmet are very close to some of the successor factions. One box that can make all that...wow. Other than cavalry you would set.

These models are great except for their paint jobs, they look like rubbery toy soldiers that you find in a cereal box. When i get my guys I'm not going to paint them like that!!!

How do they compare size wise with immortal miniatures greek hoplites? I would like to use them as peltists if the size is right.

Quite interesting figures. They look highly versatile, and usable in many different ancient armies. I am kinda sad to see that there is no Numidian cavalry available tho. Still, these figures look very good and just might end up in my shopping basket

Quickest of questions- the various sets (this one, hoplites etc) are cross compatible, right? So i could make some amazon swordswomen and use the spare pikes from that set on these guys?

I picked up a box of the Numidians at Christmas time. Darn GOOD models/minies. I have been buying them and the "extra" body/bits sprues too. I have used them to get my lights for Romans, Roman allies, Carthaginians, whatever. It can take a little work
with my hobby knife. BUT, I have learned to pose better and fill in the very minor gaps. GOOD products since day one are now even better. Keep them coming and improving.
