The Warring States or Sengoku period of Japanese history in the 16^th Century saw the rise of massive Samurai armies as rival Daimyo (Feudal Warlords) and their clans battled for supremacy and the title of Shogun. Thousands of men fought and died for the glory of clan and Daimyo armed with only spear, sword, bow or primitive firearms. The Samurai, as the core of these armies, were gradually replaced by Ashigaru during this period as the rise in firearms use increased.

This set contains 5 sprues. Each sprue contain 5 Samurai with weapons and accessories for a total of 25 figures. This set includes 25 square 20mm x 20mm x 2mm bases.

Your product keeps getting better and the prices make them irresistable. Actually, I did not have any plans for a Samurai Army, but it is too tempting - so, I have ordered three boxes!

My order arrived in the mail yesterday :D They got caught up in costums for two weeks ekstra, and they could not figur what to tax me for so they just gave me 20$ ekstra charge. Not your fault, but annoying... The models are great, could not wait to put
them together and eksperiment, so my honored warriors are standing in my window, awaiting further attention. Great work -N

Yes yes yes! I have been waiting for these for a long time! The models look excellent and I really like how you decided to put the minis together with two parts for the legs to keep maximum detail. I plan on bringing in the new year with a box or two of
these. At $20 for 25 minis, I may have to get more than one box!

Got my three boxes and I put together 5 test subjects and I must say they are truly great. It took a little trial and error to get the correct right and left arm to make the proper pose if you want to hold the katana with both hands - possibly a letter
or number on the sprues for for matching in future sets would be a BIG help.

I matched these up with my Perry samurai and they're a perfect fit! I have bought my last Perry Miniatures samurai. I'll be building future samurai armies with these figures. Now all we need is cavalry, ikko ikki/ sohei, and peasants/ wako to finish off
the period.

Back on the Wargames Factory band wagon with these and the Ashigaru! Are cavalry on the horizon? Gonna order a box of each after the holidays. Mount some for 2 skirmish armies the rest for Impetus.

These are even better than the ashigaru! Will definitely be doing a samurai/ashigaru force for WAB. Congrats to the sculptor and the rest of the team!!

At last samurai thay are awesome

I wish they had options for naginata and no-dachi. Also a bit more armor namely on the shoulders and arms. Some of the arms and faces look a bit wonky from the pics, but I certainly plan on buying some.
